About Us
Eagle Summit Wilderness Alliance is an all volunteer charitable organization dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of the four Wilderness areas located in Eagle and Summit County Colorado. Our mission is to promote sustainable use of these areas and ensure that they remain protected for generations to come. We work with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve our goals. Join us in our mission to safeguard the wilderness areas of Colorado.

- Sat, May 10Copper Mountain Community RoomWe're excited to provide our volunteers with a one-day First Aid and CPR course. We have limited spots so everyone will be placed on a wait list. You will be notified if you've been added to the final class roster. You must be a current member + volunteer to join the wait list.
- Tue, May 20Virtual Training - Link will be sentThis one hour on-line refresher is open to all existing VWRs and will remind you how to sign up for patrols or trailhead hosting on the new ESWA website, offer tips on how to communicate with the public using the Authority of the Resource technique, and much more!

- Thu, May 29SilverthorneESWA hopes to fund construction of a bridge on the North Rock Creek south of the trailhead, about 1 mile in on the Gore range trail. The work will happen in Summer 2026. ESWA trail leads will scout the bridge on the afternoon of May 29th
