Get Wild: Celebrate the Wilderness Act’s 60th anniversary

On Sept. 3, 1964 is the date President Lyndon Johnson signed the Wilderness Act. When the Wilderness Act was signed by President Lyndon Johnson, he stated, “If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them something more than the miracles of technology.
