We need YOU on ESWA's Board!

We're always looking for new board members to lead various parts of our organization. Volunteering for ESWA's board is a great way to get involved in the community, support our unique Wilderness areas, and make new friends.

Our board members are 100% volunteer and are "working" board members. By "working", we mean that our board members typically lead one of our committees or have a specialty like accounting or computer skills to help us with our bookkeeping and web site.

Depending on the board position, our board members typically spend 2 to 10 hours per month on their board duties. Of course, many of our board members also volunteer as Sawyers, VWRs, THHs, and other activities - but this isn't required to be a board member.

If you're willing to be an active board member, we'd love to talk with you.

Right now we're specifically looking for a new Treasurer. You don't need to be an accountant to be our Treasurer. Our finances are pretty simple. We get donations and grant money and we spend those funds on the work we do in the Wilderness. We don't pay any salaries so you don't have to deal with payroll or any of those types of complexities. It is basically cash-in and cash-out.

We're also looking for people with website experience using Wix. If you've got Wix experience and are willing to spend a few hours per month to help us out, we'd love to have your help.

Even if your skills aren't in one of the above areas, if you are willing to be an active board member and have organizational skills, we'd love to have a discussion with you about whether it is a good fit for you.

If you're interested, please send an email to howdy@wild4eswa.org with a few comments about why you're interested and how you might be able to help.

If you're a donor, member, or volunteer, don't forget to RSVP for our annual celebration on September 28th. RSVP and learn more here.
